Abandoned Questions – Micro Fiction

In a small little town, in an even smaller neighborhood, there sits a forlorn little house that hasn’t been lived in for some years. Old clothes hung on the line or used to. They had blown off, been stolen by children or dogs. Inside there is a thick layer of dust and dirt on everything inside. Nothing is tidy, as it had been left in a hurry, and boys exploring haven’t helped either. A few boys poked around the fire and found a burned notebook.

If you asked an elderly man who lived next to the small house, what happened he would tell you,

“Ask me no questions, and I’ll tell you no lies.” He would look sadly at the house and say, “A policy they should have employed.”

Please don’t ask what the point of this one is…the prompts were cryptic and this is all I could come up with. *sigh* This is for the CWWC -2017, Challenge 3. For Team Half-Blood. I used all three prompts for this challenge.Let’s be lost I used all three prompts for this challenge.
